September Apples Diversified Services, LLC promotes safe and encouraging school, community, and home environments in which children and families have the best possible opportunities to grow, develop, thrive, and maximize potential.  To this end, we specialize in supporting school districts, community agencies/leaders, families, and the youth themselves achieve this vision. This is accomplished by providing a broad array of socio-behavioral and psychological services and supports to individuals, agencies (public & private), communities, schools and school districts seeking to enhance socio-behavioral health, climate and safety through positive and supportive engagement. A divergent array of psychological and social services are proffered. Utilizing effective community network development strategies, Communities That Care (CTC) Model, the Single School Culture© and the Valentine Discipline Model ©  with fidelity will provide methodologies that assist communities and schools identify common values, beliefs, and unified practices to address the areas of social organization, academics, behavior, climate and safety.

 What makes September Apples, LLC different?

September Apples Diversified Services, LLC staff has experience working with rural, suburban and urban school districts. These experiences allow September Apples staff to integrate the aforementioned practices with any existing initiatives such as tenets of the Communities That Care Model (CTC), Positive Behavior Support (PBS), Discipline With Dignity, Assertive Discipline, ICPS, etc. September Apples staff will assist communities and school districts to delineate and operationalize strategies to develop a set of unified practices to address academics, behavior, climate, social service support and safety of a communinty and school by establishing an infrastructure for positive environments that improve community social organization, academic achievement and behavioral competence of all community members, families and students. Individual and group psychological assessments and evaluations are available.  Goals of Consultation and Professional Services

Upon completion of September Apples seminars/workshops participants will be able to:

  • Assess the efficacy of school and community climate and safety initiatives
  • Develop a written, flexible Action Plan (AP) using the Who, What, When, Expected Outcome format
  • Develop public/private strategic partnerships
  • Establish an infrastructure for effective school environments to address academics, behavior, climate and safety
  • Establish an infrastructure and network for effective communnity services to address community behavior, climate and safety
  • Provide psychological evaluation to delineate therapeutic needs
  • Identify academic, behavior, climate and safety benchmarks the school can initiate, manage and monitor to positively impact the school’s overall climate and safety
  • Identify school and community resources that augment school climate and safety
  • Identify school-wide discipline and classroom discipline strategies that enhance school climate and safety
  • Recognize the core elements of a viable school safety plan
  • Identify steps for the development of an effective emergency/crisis response system
  • Identify the connection between school-wide organization and classroom organization variables that impact school climate and safety
  • Identify the connection between community social suport organizations and family organization variables that impact community climate, culture and safety
  • Understand the impact of parental and teacher/staff belief systems on student behavior
  • Understand the impact of parental and teacher/staff communication patterns on student behavior
